The monastery of St Bruno was built by the monks of the same congregation in 1503

It is of a Mudejar style and astonishes by its grandeur, its mosque and its crystal dome, its a fresco paintings of which the angels remain to watch over the place, an interior stone washhouse and its terraces which allow the landscape to be observed from different angles in the surrounding meadows and forest.

On a 22 hectare plot of land with 300 olive trees, cork oaks, pines and chestnut trees, there is also a well, a water source and a place dedicated to the beehive for the artisanal production of honey.

The bell tower, the church and the campanile have been preserved in their original state, as well as the original frescoes, in this magical, serene place full of history, secrets and magic. The mosque, erected long before the monastery, is intact, only the minaret has practically disappeared.

Remains of the Arab water mill or oil mill are still visible, as are parts of the individual houses and the apothecary's shop.

Of the 3785m2 built buildings, there are 15 rooms, 2 salons, 2 kitchens, 1 church, 2 chapels, 8 bathrooms, a mosque, 2 cloisters, a separate dwelling for the guards

The monks' cells still need to be renovated. The former individual houses overlooking the garden are now in ruins. Only parts of the walls remain. Like the apothecary's room or the Arab baths.

Today it is managed as a place of historical interest, a place of celebration and wellbeing, and is also known as an ideal place to admire the stars.

It can currently accommodate 30 people and can host up to 450 people for celebrations.
