In the heart of 17.49 hectares in a protected agricultural zone, this abbey built in 1353 to be restored (caused by a fire) has 500 m2 of living space overlooking the park and the village.
This 14th century quadrilateral-shaped abbey with its outbuildings, chapel, chapter house facade and cloister area, the 19th century castle (burnt down) and the 1.49 hectare walled plot of land are inlaid with historical monuments, i.e. ISMH.
This abbey was the only Cistercian abbey in the county of Foix built in the 14th century. The abbey was modified in the 19th century by the construction of a castle on the site of the church. There is a spacious terrace with swimming pool facing south-west.
A spacious sheepfold on 2 levels. 2 other outbuildings are to be renovated, the cloister area distributing the chapter house and its facade, chapel. Major restoration work is to be expected (refurbishment, septic tank, roofs, frames).
