The Cortijo Sherry is a 250 years old castle, with a modern, bright and comfortable renovation, surrounded by its own vineyard.

This amazing Cortijo has been designed to have 3 different parts: the main house, the bodega (wine factory) and the stables.

The main house is built around a central patio where the old cistern is located, which is today what irrigates the garden. The house is very sunny and bright thanks to the patio and the windows that overlook the garden. The main house has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, (3 of the bedrooms are suites) 2 bedrooms are located in the towers with a peculiar circular shape and an independent access to a private terrace.

 The kitchen communicates with the dining room and has an area of 32m2. The old kitchen oven was an old pizza oven where it’ s still used to cook or to heat dishes on top of it. The main living room overlooks to the vineyards.

From the living room we could stand out the magnificent hydraulic floor, old wooden beams and very antique charming doors. All rooms are very spacious and most with private bathroom.

The Bodega (where they used to make wine) is still decorated by the big old Jerez barrels of wine. Now the place is often used for celebrations and parties. This actual loft can be reformed into a home or guest house as an independent entrance. The old stables of the Cortijo are used partly as an office, others are being prepared to convert them into independent touristic apartments.

The Cortijo has many possibilities regarding the expansion of the house, and the juicy activity with the vineyard which have one of the best grapes to make different types of wines such as Sherry. Those grapes are ideal for white wine (a variety of white grapes, also known as palomina, albán, albar, sherry, fine sherry, xerez, chamomile from Sanlúcar). This type of grapes are usually cultivated in albariza soils. (1/2 hectare is a red grape of the Cabernet, Merlot and Tempranillo type, with which the current owners make their own wine.)

The outside enjoys a big peaceful own field with grass, private pool, olive trees and a vegetable garden.
